FROM ME TO YOURS.

 Many a times I wonder why some people are really reluctant to speak up about their own rights. Even I, sometimes, face that kind of situations where I need to negotiate the matters, just to make myself satisfied.

Okay. Let me project an example, which happened to me a few days ago. 

I was out of town for some days, so there in, one day, I was wandering in the verandah of the guest house I occupied in, a random woman, asked me about the reason why I had been there. We (me and the woman), were in a normal conversation until she said me the statement, "You are a girl and you should cook, my son is an engineering student, so he is just here to stay with me."

OH MY GOSH!!!

The statement of her's really provoked me. Without explaining anything, I just said to her(with an easy go happy face),

"Aunty, I did not come here just because I can cook, every person feels hungry, so everyone should know how to cook. Today, boys and girls, all are treated equally. All are same!!"

Okay. I stopped here. 

Aunty left the spot saying "Hmmm..."

She should have said instead, "you can cook", not, "you should cook". There is a vast difference between should and can. (ok fine, I m not a grammar teacher).

Speak up guys, whenever you feel like something is wrong. The above example was just a representation of how girls are still pointed when it comes to 'COOKING'. Not only girls, but boys too face problems in the society. We are all equal.
